Article 2 - Burgos
Street red light sales.
The Burgos Street area of Makati City has for some time been the nightly
entertainment capital of the Philippines. While the streets and bars have
many sights and sounds to attract any visitor, there are also bargains and
great condos to be found within the towers that surround Burgos Street.
There are 6 main towers (that have units for sale) that surround the
Burgos Street area. They are Makati Palace, Citadel, Prime Tower, Sunette
Tower, Millenium Plaza, and Oxford Suites.
While these towers are not even close to the standard of buildings such as
the Shangrila and other hotels in the Greenbelt area, they provide good
value for condominium investors who are quite happy to live and visit
there. After all, why pay hotel bills when you can get a cheap
condominium?
The units selling in these developments are often 25-50% lower than new
developments around Makati City. And as most visitors know, there are no
new developments around Burgos Street as yet (except Bel Air SOHO which is
sold out). So it's an older condo or nothing at the moment until newer
developments spring up in 2-3 years time such as
